- A Running Start Youth Coaching Resources. New York Road Runners Launches Free Coaching Tools--A Running Start offers a FREE online collection of 83 coaching videos developed by New York Road Runners to teach the fundamentals of running. Created with a team of expert youth coaches and exercise physiologists is designed for coaches and PE teachers who want to teach kids how to run. Check out this great website that already has things organized by elementary, middle, and high school levels and then segmented into Warm-up and Cool-down, stretching and strength training, form, pacing, and games!
