This award is to recognize members of our association who have while serving our profession demonstrated meritorious leadership in a pursuit of excellence by setting professional horizons that rise "Above and Beyond" the expectations of professionals in our field.
                               
The recipient:

• Must have served our profession at all three levels - State, District and National
• Must have been a professional member for ten (10) or more years in MTAHPERD and AAHPERD
• Must have received the MTAHPERD Honor Award
• Must have achieved levels in the profession that model excellence and serve as an example for others to follow
